Urban Greening
Street trees are infrastructure

A tree pit that is too small, a grate that strangles the trunk, and a species chosen only for flowers will not make a street cooler in May. Urban greening is a civil-and-horticulture problem.
Specify soil volume, irrigation for establishment, and a species that can take heat, dust and occasional neglect. Chhatim, neem and carefully placed shade trees outperform ornamental choices that look good in a render.
Maintenance in year one is part of the capital project. If the contract ends at planting day, the avenue is unfinished.
